  • By using the website b-science.net and services provided by b-science.net GmbH (LLC) ("we", "our"), you ("user") consent that we will collect, process and store your information according to this privacy policy.
  • We are obliged and committed to follow the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and laws by other jurisdictions that apply to us.

  • Data collection & use

  • Cookies with a validity of up to 365 days are created locally on the user computer. No third party cookies are created.
  • Search and artificial intelligence ("AI") user data is collected to the extent needed to provide service functionality. No exchange of this data between users from different organizations may occur. If the user has explicitly provided permission (opt-in), we may employ this data in anonymized form to improve service and AI quality.
  • Information necessary for order processing is collected.
  • Messages and other information sent by users through our website are processed only for their intended purpose.
  • To assure high quality & information security, we collect logging data.
  • Users can request to review, transfer or delete all their information within 30 days. We will comply fully except if there are legal restrictions.

  • Data confidentiality & security

  • We protect user data against unauthorized processing through adequate technical and organizational measures according to Article 7 of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.
  • We will not forward user data to third parties except for:
    • IT partners that are legally bound to protect confidentiality, for the purpose of providing our services.
      • User data (data at rest) is hosted in the European Union (all users), Switzerland (all users), USA (only users based in USA) and Hong Kong (only users based in Mainland China and Hong Kong).

    • Distribution / content generation partners for the territory where the user is based, that are legally bound to protect confidentiality.
      • Data for joint customers or leads is shared to the extent necessary to serve them.
      • No user search or AI data is shared.
      • As of 2024-06-30, Enabled Future Limited (UK) is a content generation partner and distributor (territory: Europe, North America, Oceania), and Achates (Shanghai) International Trading Co., Ltd. is a distributor (territory: Mainland China).
    • Authorities if there is a legal requirement to do so, or if the user violated our terms & conditions.
  • Sensitive user data is transmitted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or similar encryption methods.
  • We cannot provide a guarantee to our customers that a data loss or breach will never occur.

  • Changes to the privacy policy

  • Users are informed via e-mail or on our Blog about changes to the privacy policy with at least 30 days advance notice before they enter into force.
  • By continued use of our services, the user accepts any changes to the privacy policy.
